For the Love of Labels: the Art of Designer Ready-to-Wear November 21, 2008 to January 20, 2009 An exhibit featuring items from UGA's Historic Clothing and Textiles Collection housed at the Department of Textiles, Merchandising and Interiors will explore ready-to-wear creations by celebrated fashion designers.
Agner's Hanging Gardens December 18, 2008 to January 26, 2009 Renowned fiber artist Margaret Agner returns in January with "Hanging Gardens," an exhibition of botanical paintings on silk. Some hangings will be "garden landscapes" designed expressly for this exhibition.

Drumline Live January 8, 2009 The show-stopping African American marching band tradition takes the theatrical stage for the very first time as DRUMLine Live kicks off its 50-city international tour in Athens. Based on performance sequences from the hit movie Drumline filmed in Georgia, DRUMLine Live showcases the rousing and rhythmic sounds and explosive choreography of the HBCU marching band tradition from America’s top African American colleges and universities.
